Delivery and return policy

 

January 2022:
Due to COVID-19  restrictions we are not able to deliver to the following countries at the moment: Bahamas, Bolivia, Brunei, El Salvador, Eritrea, Fiji, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Laos, Liberia, Libyen, Mauretanien, Mauritius, Papua Ny Guinea, Saint Barthelemy, Saint Martin (the French part l), Saint Pierre and Miquelon, Namibia, Somalia, Swaziland, Syrien, Trinidad & Tobago, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Venezuela, Wallis and Futuna, Yemen.
Please note that delivery times are longer than usual  in general.

 

These terms and conditions apply to any purchase of goods on www.asareesstory.com for delivery in Denmark and worldwide.

We strive to dispatch the received orders before 1:00 p.m. on the same day, orders received after 1:00 p.m. will be dispatched the following working day.

We ship to Denmark. 

We also ship overseas, please contact me for further information.

Goods will be delivered at the delivery address stated at the time of order, unless otherwise agreed.

Your items are shipped with GLS, DHL or local carriers.

We use insured parcel service. You will receive a track & trace number when your order is shipped.

Goods are delivered every weekday. 

Your item will be delivered 2-3 business days after ordering for deliveries in DK.

For International deliveries, 6-12 business days, depending on the destination country.

Special delivery terms apply to certain items. The conditions will be stated specifically prior to the purchase of these goods.

Environmentally responsible packaging

We are a sustainable company and we do everything possible to be environmentally responsible throughout the whole process, from production to delivery to you. 

When ordering from the webshop or buying in the store, we use mailboxes, bags or plastic packaging made from recycled materials to minimize the environmental impact.

 

 

The mailboxes are: 

  • Made of 100% recycled paper.
  • Manufactured locally and FSC certified. 
  • Biologically degradable and reusable.

On top of the box the box's own sustainable history is printed in water-based ink.

It signals that you take responsibility for the climate and the environment and that you support a green business.

  

Exchange and Returns

Returns

14 days full returns are given for items purchased in our webshop.

The period is valid from the day;

- Where you receive the order.

 

Returns:

A saree's Story complies with Danish and EU law. 

If you wish to exchange a product, you must send an email to nilsa@asareesstory.com. 

14 days full return right from the date of purchase is given on goods purchased in our webshop.

Please note, that the following conditions apply in exchanges and returns.

We do not return products if : 

  • The "return" tag is not on the clothes or have been tried removed.
  • The “hangtags are not on the item.
  • Smells strongly of perfume or any other substances.
  • Have been exposed to smoke.
  • Have been washed.
  • Have been exposed to fur from animals.
  • Have not been properly packed.

You must bear the return costs yourself.

Note:

As it is recycled material, minor blemishes may occur: like small stains, small holes or loose threads. Therefore, these do not have a complaint /return basis.

The colors displayed on the webshop may differ from the actual colors the products actually have. The color reproductions depend on the settings of your computer, mobile phone or tablet.

It may be prints or other details on the back or pages not shown in pictures.

We must always be contacted before the goods are returned.

Cancellation

Cancellations must be notified to us within 14 days of purchase. From the cancellation date you must return within 14 days of returning the shipment. 

Please state clearly on the e-mail and returning note that you wish to exercise your right of cancellation. 

You will need to attach an order number, a copy of the invoice or other documentation for your purchase.

You will then be informed of any further progress in connection with your complaint.

We must always be contacted before the goods are returned.

Goods excluding the right of cancellation.

The following types of goods are not included in the right of cancellation:

  • Goods manufactured according to the consumer's specifications or which have a distinct personal appearance.
  • Sealed goods which for health or hygiene reasons, are not suitable for return and where the seal is broken after delivery.
  • Goods which due to their nature, are inextricably mixed with others upon delivery.
  • Items where the seal is broken.
  • Non-financial services rendered if the provision of the service has commenced with the prior express consent of the consumer and recognition that the right of withdrawal is terminated when the service is fully completed.
  • Delivery of digital content that is not delivered on a physical medium, if the performance has begun with the consumer's prior express consent and acknowledgment that he / she thereby loses his right of withdrawal.

Returns

You must return your order without undue delay and no later than two weeks  after you have exercised your right of cancellation. You must bear the direct costs of return. When you return, you are responsible for the goods being properly wrapped. You must enclose a copy of the order confirmation in the package. You bear the risk of the goods from the time of delivery of the goods and until we have received the return.

We do not accept packages sent COD (cash on delivery) or similar.

 

Returning items

You are only liable for any deterioration in the value of the item due to handling other than what is necessary to determine the nature, characteristics, and manner of operation of the item. In other words, you can try the item as if you tried it at a physical store.

If the item is used more than what is described above, it is considered used. Which means that when you cancel the purchase, you will only receive part or none of the purchase amount, depending on the merchandise value at the time of receipt - of the return. Therefore, in order to receive the full purchase price return, you must try the item without actually using it.

If you have a product with a manufacturing error or want to make a claim of a product, send an e-mail with photos to nilsa@asareesstory.com .

You will then be informed of any further progress in connection with your complaint.

We only receive packages sent directly to the address.

You can also cancel the purchase by notifying us and handing it in person at the above address against prior agreement.


 

REFUND

If you cancel your purchase, you will of course receive the amount you paid back from  us.

In the event of any impairment for which you are liable, this amount will be deducted.

By using the right of cancellation, all payments received from you, including delivery costs (excluding any additional costs arising from your choice of delivery other than the cheapest form of standard delivery we offer), will be refunded without undue delay and within two weeks  of the date, where we have received notice of your decision to use the right of cancellation. Repayment will be made with the same payment method that you used in the original transaction, unless you have explicitly agreed otherwise.

We may withhold the amount of refund until we have received the item, unless you have provided documentation before returning it.
